Hello Tep
I thought I had posted here, but maybe I didn't.
I'm going to see my accupuncturist/chinese herb person this morning like I do every 3 weeks. He'll give me accupuncture and herbs. My experience has been that it is easier to treat anxiety than depression, but this is true of all forms of treatment isn't it? During accupuncture I often fall asleep, and I do feel better in a nice normal way after it. But I think depression and SP are a bit more difficult, which is not to say that accupuncture and herbs can't help them.
I have also used accupuncture and chinese herbs for withdrawal from benzos and opiates. They help a little.
Anyway I take a little bit of Parnate and deprenyl that helps somewhat with the sadness.
Moreso than with a lot of forms of treatment accupuncture and herbs are an art, with more than one way of getting a result perhaps. A good practitioner makes a lot of difference, so you may have to look around.
I think *maybe* it's the single best form of healing we have available to us, if you can get a good practitioner. The herbs are also very interesting. I would like to learn how to use more of them in ordinary cooking like we do already with ginger, garlic, and turmeric.
I wonder how Nardil is going for you. Can you find a dose of it that works with tolerable side effects? If so, tell me the dose!!
Do you have any thoughts on combining low dose Nardil with low dose deprenyl?
