I would be amazed and very impressed if ibogaine could, I dunno, *abolish* withdrawal from methadone, as opposed to heroin/morphine etc. The withdrawal period is *so* long, it just doesn't seem possible.

Sometimes after a psychedelic experience I have experienced an infusion of psychic courage, so to speak, in which state I can imagine the withdrawal process appearing as a minor distraction.
I wonder if that's it, or is it something solely to do with the pharmacology of ibogaine?
