It really does suck. So does anyone know what supplements will be affected? SAM-e, L-tyrosine, etc? Why are they restricting them in the first place, when surely people have been taking them all this time with no problems?? I read somewhere (In Patrick's holford's book, 'the optimum nutition bible') that the likeihood of you overdosing on natural supplements is LESS than being in a shark attack.
Anyway, Ed hang in there with the studies - I was going to drop out because of depression etc, but my uni was really really understanding and let me take off a semester. I then retook the year. Are you studying to be a pharmacist? My friend did pharmacay at Bradford uni and now she's fully qualified, earning about a squillion pounds a year..... unfortunately I'm too ashamed to fully admit the extent of my depression and therefore I can't utilise her knowledge! anyway i get a feeling that you are studying something pharmacy related, I wish there were more healthcare professinals as knowledgeable as you about pysch meds. The GP i saw today was shockingly unknowledgeable. eh well.
