This study noted a patient population that HAD implantable defibrillators. There was also the added possible effect that a brand of those defibrillators was recently recalled. As the article stated, this population of people are HEART patients and I feel that muddies the waters as to pinpointing a cause and effect relationship that is relevant to the population as a whole.
Individuals who have problems that seem to be related to the use of fish oil are unfortunate, but I think one must be careful in looking at these findings - IN ONE STUDY - in a general sense. There are many data findings that point to the use of fish oil as being very beneficial for a number of health problems.
Time may prove different, but for now, I think it's pretty good stuff for most folks.
