When I take 300mg Kira brand (LI160 formula, same as many clinical studies) along with my prozac and zyprexa, it works very fast and I like it. It makes me more social, relaxed, comfortable, and motivated. But, within a couple days or a couple weeks, some kind of tolerance sets in to where the good effects go away. With dose increases, the goodness comes back but again, only for a short time. Then when I get up to 1200mg, it turns into deep scary depression. My best dose seems to be in the 300mg to 600mg range, but it just doesn't last.
I'm wondering if the good effects are from increased dopamine, and that tolerance sets in for increased dopamine pretty quickly. Could be the same thing with GABA. I've also seen in clinical studies that sjw has effects on opioid receptors too. Maybe that causes the good effects and the quick tolerance.
Sjw also has significant effects in affecting metabolism of other meds in your system, so that could be involved too.
I like sjw. But wow, what a confusing compound it is.
Just thought it would be interesting to hear other people's comments on sjw and if anyone else experiences quick tolerance, or quick poopout, with it. I'm wondering if the quick tolerance is related to dopamine, GABA, or opioid effects.
I might try it every other day and see what happens.
