I don't want to um hog the board, but I've been meaning to ask about chocolate. Since I was a little girl I've had INTENSE cravings for chocolate, like the death by chocolate dark chocolate super delux cake, pretty much daily, and since I like dark chocolate better than the other kinds, I don't think the sugar factors in as much. As I've read more about chocolate's effects on the brain/mood, I've come to the conclusion that it was/is my body's drug of choice for depression/anxiety. So, I wanted to ask the very knowledgeable people here if that indicates any kind of deficiency to them, or raises a flag somehow (like, "you need more..." type of thing)or what might work for me. I also thought I'd ask if anyone knows if you can supplement chocolate? Like seperately take all the active things in it (there-by avoiding the calories) or some kind of concentrate? It might be a silly question, and I apologize if it seems like a waste of time post, but if I could find a way to do it, I think it could possibly be a huge help. Thanks very much.
