Maca supposedly increases estrogen production. It certainly stopped my hot flashes for a few months. When I went back on it a second time (after taking the break that was advised) it no longer worked.

It's good to know, though, that SJW does work against estrogen production. It's a factor to keep in mind and work against if I try it again.
