The conversion of norepinephrine to epinephrine and the conversion of serotonin to melatonin. As both are "downstream" events, I have trouble understanding the link to serotonin syndrome.
SAMe also methylates DNA, an essential part of the replication to RNA, and all that ensues. But that takes time, days if not weeks, for the effects to be obvious.
I'd happily listen to ideas, if anybody has any.
