I have been thinking of trying st. johns wort. It's either that or trying AD's again. I can't handle this depression without something. I have been AD free for a little while now, due to all the side effects after trials of almost them all.
My depression has been crippling me in many ways. It's time to try a new route but I worried that the st. johns wort would not be enough for my kind of depression.
I am on a benzo for the anxiety, but I'd love to be off of them. If valerian could handle it I would be releived. The benzos give me strange feelings and some S/E's, too.
I'm glad you are able to find relief naturally. If you don't mind me asking, do you 'just' have mild depression? And also, were you on prescription AD's before trying the st. johns wort?
