In support of your anecdote, I would like to post that I went to yoga classes while pregnant to alleviate physical discomfort - and found that it eased my pre-partum depression as well. Perhaps you could discuss your physical limitations (being unable to go quickly from sitting to standing) with your yoga instructor. I found that mine was very willing to accomodate limitations that different students had because of their stages of prg., for instance. Anyway, thanks for your post. It reminded me that yoga can help!
