Cut out the septal area and the hippocamus goes haywire.Violent rage as seen in bi polar illness results in some people.Also a lot of other mental symptoms. Know 28 year old man with bi polar and he destroys the house in a rage fit .They want to have him put in an asylum.Temporal lobe epelepcy also causes rage.The hippocamuc,left amygdala and hypothalmus all work together.
