Yes, I know exactly what you mean. My doc is frustrating me. He wanted to prescribe me Wellbutrin for anxiety?!? ... he said it was a "Xanax cousin"?!? I've been experimenting a lot with supps & meds trying to figure out where i'm deficient or even overly sufficient. I have a decent understanding of neurotransmitters and there effects. It's just the epinephrine/norepinephrine/dopamine connection that boggles my mind. Of course, then you got newer drugs coming out that act on specific receptors 5-ht1,5-ht2,5-ht3 and so on and so on. It's frustrating trying to find the best combo.
