THREONINE and severe depression ?????

Posted by Ron Jones on November 3, 2003, at 14:29:40

Eric Braverman is an ortholomecular doctor and has found low levels of threonine in severe depression.PKC is made from serine and threonine,an amino acid.Methyl mercury effects PKC activity.Tyrosine makes several kinases that are envolved with cancer .Cancer spreads by mutateing signal transduction pathways.Inositol is the precurcor to the second messenger systen.Calcium activates the second messenger system. It controls cell division and cell apothisis.Cancer cells stop cell apothisis by mutating the signal pathway that turns it on.Inositol can undo the damage to cell receptors from ssri drug use.Fish oil does not effect brain chemistry like regular drugs. It restores calcium homestasis without lithiums side effects.Take the concentrated fish oil high in epa and dha.
