Unfortunately, all it will mean is that people won't be able to put your posts there.

Any of your posts that are in threads of people who have not removed the button option from their name - those posts of yours will still be visible if people click on the post that's on twitter....or at least I have not read anything yet on here that indicates otherwise.

I hope I'm wrong.
