One issue is, imho, that it's a 'closed door' session. That is, we don't know if the poster has requested a reduction or not. If they have, and they emailed you, and you are NOT open to it, we'll never hear a peep. So--no discussion or mention that it was ever broached.

I am very disappointed in how the whole thing with Zen was handled. In my opinion, more flexibility would be a very good thing, especially when it comes to the hour/minute one is allowed to post again. Technically, I suppose we could bring it down to the nano-second, and if they tried to post before the acceptable nano-second, they could get a double (or maybe a triple with whipped cream and soy milk) block.

I feel, within my very own self, and no reflection on anybody else or their very own decisions and opinions, that Zen's block and the rejection of the decision to not reduce it by a week (after a request had been made, and no discussion ensued here at admin), was not the way I would have handled it. At all. Not in the least.

It has impacted me in a most not pleasant fashion, while not meaning to put anyone down or accuse/accurse anyone. Just waaaaayyy too non-flexible, imho. (I can't think of a better word for non-flexible and still express my humble opinion; except rigid, which I thought might be too 'negative').

Hoping I won't be blocked, and disappointed in this whole situation,
Shar
