Not to once again attempt to force Orthomolecular on you, but...
some doctors still do high dose niacin treatment for elevated cholesterol. Here in the US, somehow prescription niacin became ungodly expensive (pharma bros, yet again?), but...
hopefully, that isn't the case everywhere. use of niacin for cholesterol should involve regular monitoring...liver and lipids (obviously). Hoffer always recommended taking at least as much C as niacin.
