Yes, today I was BLASTING high, hypo-manic, in the vitamin store, sweating bullets...non-stop...un FREAKIN believable!!! I swear, I felt like I could kill..like the world was going to end.
Since I am diabetic, and Lyrica is prescribed for diabetic neuropathy, my doc prescribes me 900mg of Lyrica a day...but I binge sometimes..and crank it up to almost 2000mg's...whoohoo!! My "stack" of vitamins include B1, B2, and Lecithen for the choline....and it all cool's your jets, without crushing you with depression.
I am Bipolar 2, and the rapid cycling is just plain torture!! Antidepressants send me to the moon, and mood stabalizers crush me into depression. Can you get Nabilone from your doc? It is synthetic cannabis, pot, and it also 'chills'.
See, I need like tons, tons of benzo's and their cousins, at times. Clonidine also works AWESOME to combat agitation, hyperarousal.
Two meds I am going to ask to try, which I have been on before, are Moclobemide (Reversible MAOI) and bromazepam, (I am in Canada..so can get these.) Maybe add a beta-blocker, and lithium. I was on Moclobemide and bromazepam, and it both energizes and relaxes...no sexual side effects...way, way better than Welbutrin, or usual SSRI/SNRI. It actually enhances sexuality, and man, I am almost 51, and have lost ALL interest in sex. It's time for a change...
So, those are my upcoming strategies in the life-long battle. Let me know how you are doing....I will share all my info too. Depression and anxiety are two heads of the same coin.
