It's most likely due to exports.
For many months, the UK version of Nardil has been completely unavailable. This is anticipated to be the case for at least the next year or so. The same applies to several other countries such as Australia.
As a result, various pharmaceutical wholesalers in the UK and elsewhere are importing Nardil (or generics) from the US. I expect this has lead to an unexpected increase in demand for the US product, hence the temporary out-of-stock.
