Genetic study: BPII resembles unipolar

Posted by linkadge on February 5, 2020, at 5:52:02

This is an interesting read. A new study looked at the genetics of unipolar, BPI and BP2. Some of the findings.

- BPII more closely resembled unipolar than bipolar
- Bipolar and unipolar had alterations in serotonergic genes
- Bipolar had additional disturbances in gaba / glutamate systems
