Cymbalta horrifyingly stimulating and insomnia-causing. Stimulants, like Dexedrine, can put me to sleep. Cymbalta, for me, was just, horrible. Effexor, which I have been on for years, apparently touches on the opioid system, and is a bit more serotogenic. But, even the more noradrenic, desvenlafaxine, Pristiq, works well for me. Maybe even better than Effexor. Are you thinking of switching to Cymbalta? Have you tried Pristiq?

Someone said, they never fear a thing
Well, I do
And I'm afraid enough for both of us,
For me and you
Time, if nothing else, will do it's worst
So do me a favour, and tell me the good news first
