Disulfiram (Antabuse) for Lyme Disease

Posted by SLS on October 18, 2019, at 22:15:31

Disulfiram (Antabuse) is a drug that has been used to treat alcohol abuse / alcoholism.

It was discovered that disulfiram is effective as an antibiotic to treat Lyme Disease (Borrelia burgdorferi). My doctor showed me a chart comparing various Lyme treatments, and disulfiram was far more effective than doxycycline - even in persistent cases. He and his colleagues have started using it. He is having some success with it.
