Yeah, contrary to popular belief, we don't have free health care in Canada. We have free doctors visits, but if you can't afford the treatment you're S.O.L.
Also, many medications in Canada can be MUCH more expensive than they are in the US.
A month of generic fluoxetine (last time I checked) was close to $50 at Wallmart. A friend in the US told me it was closer to $5 there.
Crazy.
