i forget the exact %, but something like 2/3 of ongoing tranquilizer prescriptions go thru Medicaid or Medicare. with abilify now generic, maybe the gov't is putting pressure on prescribers to avoid rexulti and that other one...the v-one...
i dunno. other than that...its -very- new and just reading about it as a person/patient who needs a tranq, daily...it doesn't seem so great. narrow dosage range, very expensive, potential prolactin elevation, plus all the akathisia and EPS from abilify, anyway. why bother?
