hi. i did well on standard dose celexa, not so wonderfully on zoloft. long term...i do better not an daily, ongoing, indefinite antidepressants, but i take other stuff. each individual is different, of course.

ssri drugs help with obsessive stuff, ruminations. personally, i find they help agitated depressive states, but other people cannot tolerate them for such.

if your core problems are fatigue, anhedonia, lack of concentration...i kind of doubt an ssri would be the best idea. its also worth noting that the data on long term use is kind of sparse, so...no one has answers to "what to do if it stops working" or "can the antidepressants end up making it worse" or "what's plan B?"

sorry. personally, zoloft did a number on my motivation...rough times. somehow, it also made me moody. other people swear by the stuff, especially with ocd-type probs involved.
