What Barbara Schildkrout is reported to have said is absolutely right. You may notice, though, that no one medical condition is named or otherwise alluded to by her. Certainly, there is no mention of Lyme Disease. However, it is good that people begin to think of mental illness as being the result of a diseased or compromised organ - the brain - and thus a dysfunction of the mind-body connection.
