Are there meds Aspbergers respond different to?

Posted by PeterMartin on December 18, 2017, at 9:09:30

I've was DXed bipolar 1 over 20yrs ago. When I've gone to new psychiatrists I always say I'm bipolar. I recently met someone w Aspberger's syndrome and I see some of my behaviors in them. They weren't diagnosed until they were in their late 40s (I'm 40).

I'm curious if there' are meds I may have taken for bipolar that an "aspie" would respond differently to? I've taken tons of meds for bipolar and if some are ineffective for aspbergers people maybe that would help me know if I could possibly be that instead of "bipolar". Bipolar whenever been something I felt like I identified with inspire of depression & some episodes of mania

Thank you!
