FWIW I switched from 50 trazodone to 5 mgs doxepin last night. Sedation lasted longer into the day but I didn't feel so "whatever, why bother getting up" feeling that I did on Trazodone.

Hoping there's not a trazodone withdrawal. At <10 mgs doxepin I don't think there's much going on aside from histaminergic activity. Based on some positive reactions from hydroxyzine and trazodone the 5ht2 activity may have been beneficial.
