If no one else offers and adequate explanation, I have a kind of weird one. I suggest that some people experience a short period of dry mouth (xerostomia) when they begin to feel better or begin to feel worse. It may be a transitional state. This might be an effect on the automomic nervous system. Do you also experience heart palpitations, dizziness, tremors, blurred vision, sensitivity to light (photophobia), teeth grinding, or constipation? This could happen with several, not just Lamictal.

I could be way off. I would appreciate it if you were to list your dosage of Lamictal, how long you have been taking it, and other side effects you are noticing.
