I've taken lamotrigine for several years now with no side effects at all. I'm completely unaware of it, except in the sense that I have experienced fewer deep descents into darkness. To me, it's as innocuous as taking a daily vitamin.
The rash side effect is dangerous but rare and, if it happens, it will happen soon after you start. It's not something you have to worry about in the long run so that every rash or sore throat becomes a cause for concern.> Good to hear that you are pleased with it!
