When meds were free for me, I was taking 5 of them. Whatever the doctor prescribed, I would take (why not, it was free?). Now that they cost me money, I (occasionally) take one or two meds.
I am much healthier now.
Meds are only "free" in Canada if you have virtually zero income. You can have a job, which pays below the poverty line, and still have to pay 100% out of pocket for your meds. The Canadian system is a joke. The "consultation" is free, but the treatment is not.
