but even with raw - just raw carbohydrates, i think maybe the pleasure of eating, feeling content after you have a nice meal for the night, it releases some kind of serotonin in the brain that gives that feeling of small-bliss after a meal......and i think the process when eating, the pleasure is when dopamine is released, that's why people over eat because of that pleasure it gives

but yea it would be really intresting to find other types of foods that have psychoactive propereties, foods from other countries, like in the jungle or the amazon they have psychdellic plants that they eat during rituals, and opens their mind up.....there's also something called khat that is a psychostimulant, very similar to cocaine, and amphetamine, they drink it in tea, and it gives them a small cocaine like buzz, it's illegal here in the US, it's a dopamine reptake inhibitor like methyphedidate and cocaine

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khat

but just like comfort foods, i always noticed when i eat comfort food that feeling of bliss after im done, pleasure of having a meal.....

research project: food from other countries that are psychoactive lol
