I don't know of any anticonvulsant that would help anxiety any better than pregabalin would. What dose did you need to find it effective? I know the max fda dose is 600mg, but maybe you could find a doctor that would be willing to go higher? I had a pain doctor once tell me they would go as high as 900mg.
