No, will not be expected to work faster.

Could potentially be dangerous since prozac takes a week just for half of it to leave your body. It could combine with lexapro to cause serotonin syndrome. I think the risk is low, but real, and should be respected.The doses are probably too low to be worrisome, but these things are not always predictable.

If the instructions to do this came from your MD, then he feels confident it is safe. I wouldn't expect anything to happen fast though.
