I was on mirapex several years ago. One good side effect is it improves sexual dysfunction and libido. Too bad it wasn't more tolerable. Seemed to make me more sociable but at a price of feeling ill. Powerful for boosting dopamine, including the less desirable D3, which can cause destabilisation. Gave me a short temper. I recall nausea was the main side effect that I could not bear. After about a month I quit.
I got a new psychiatrist after I moved and told him about it. He later wrote me a letter of thanks after he successfully tried it on some treatment resistant patients with success.
