I took depakote and lamictal. Neither did anything for me, and I was still on zyprexa. Same dose. Which was 10mg at the time. Depakote and zyprexa made me super tired and slow. Lamictal didn't do much of anything. I'm just glad the generic teva Z does not make me eat too much, the brand did.
You know I never needed more than 10mg of zyprexa till I took abilify for 6 months. When I stoped abilify I suddenly needed 20mg z. Thats why I took perphenazine to cut back on z, which was brand at the time and made me eat.
The teva z makes me tired but eat around the right amount, which would be nothing if not for z.
I was not expecting to be able to just quit the p. I thought I would have to gradualy decrease over the next few months. Hopefully I'm done with it. I still have a month and a half supply if needed. It was getting expensive too. 10 times the price of z.
