Usually Parnate is activating. At least it was for me, very much so. I'm wondering...maybe your dose is too high, and you're having a paradoxical effect? Has it made you tired at every dose?
I'm afraid I don't know anything about which meds you could take after a heart attack. I do know many antidepressants can lower blood pressure or cause orthostatic hypotension, so that might eliminate some from consideration.
