They did make some good progress but i think it is time for the next step(s).
We are a bit more than a year from nmda and/or neurogenesis type antidepressant drugs and x years from anandamide based antipsychotics. Both classes might have some off label effectiveness. The ADs might help psychosis some and anandamide might help depression some. Note that this is new. Common ADs can cause psychosis and common APs depression!
Research with cannabidiol (an anandamide enhancing cannabinoid) looks promising. Anandamide seems to be natures answer to psychosis, research suggests!
