Namenda is a weak NMDA antagonist. NMDA antagonists are being studied for their antidepressant qualities. Other NMDA antagonists include Ketamine, Ethanol, Dextromathorphan, PCP, etc.

I've been on Namenda before and can say it provided some mood uplift.
