It is hard to tell if the meds are involved or not. I would maybe suspect adderall but hard to tell.
Since you have already seen the problem that is bothering you and you have articulated it, that's half the battle won already. Identifying exactly what we want to change I think breeds success.
So you could come up with a simple rule for your self to follow whenever you are typing an email. For example, maybe, unless it is important business, never ever send a personal email the same day you wrote it.
Wait till the next day. Re-read it. With fresh eyes and a fresh day it makes it much easier to single out stuff you wish you hadn't written, or wrong phrasing, wrong wording, whatever, and then send the cleaned up edited version.
I find it interesting how I can write something one day, really mean it, pissed off, whatever, and then the next day I read it again and I can't believe I said those things. It was mostly my mood that said those things, not me.
Since I don't have as much control over the mood itself, then instead I can control me and that's easy because all I have to do is say to self don't send it till tomorrow.
The original version allows you to vent at full force and get it out...that's a good thing....the next day's edited version allows you to get the same message across except in a nicer way that you won't regret later down the road.
