The Questioning of Antidepressants

Posted by Phillipa on December 27, 2013, at 11:16:29

Seems a while ago almost no one questioned the use of antidressants for depression and even anxiety. Why take an antidepressant when there are meds specifically for anxiety, OCD, and now we find out that those that the medical profession claimed to be addictive or we very hard to get off are now being found to be both safer, target the problem and don't have the withdrawal effects of antidepressants. Seems we have gone full circle yet again. Since antibiotics are now resistant to bacteria from overuse. Do you feel that the same is true for the few that ad's do help. Take more need more than none work? Like a MRSA of the brain? Phillipa
