Has this dose become less effective because of tolerance, or has its effect held steady, but your doc just thinks you need more of it? My advice is that if you ever do develop tolerance to a benzo, don't increase your dose. I did this twice when I became tolerant to lorazepam, and all I did was buy myself some extra time by digging myself in deeper. This made my taper off benzos far longer and much more difficult. I wish I'd started tapering as soon as I started to develop tolerance. But if you don't develop tolerance to Klonopin, there's a good chance you'll be okay.
