My pdoc did the mouth swab test also says on the brochure that you are given to see how you metabolize meds. Come to find out it let him know if I was taking the correct amount of the meds I am on. In other words the normal were normal for what was prescribed. Guessing some pdocs could be using it to see if their patients are also taking more of their meds than prescribed.
I also just read that SSRI's cause osteoporosis also or can. And I have this plus the arthritis so wonder if those could have contributed to this? Have you had a Dexa scan for bone density. Mine is so low I refuse to have another. Phillipa
