I am not aware of any long-term studies that establish the optimal frequency of maintenance treatments. Single treatments can last for hours or days, but usually not more than a week. I hope that I might profit from using ketamine to trigger an antidepressant response that the other drugs I take can maintain. I imagine that I would go for periodic ketamine treatments.
