1. If you take meds, you're screwed.2. If you don't take meds, you're screwed.
3. If you discontinue meds, you're screwed.
4. If you have a mental illness, you're screwed.
Of course, the degree to which #4 is true depends upon the natural course of the illness and the effectiveness of its treatment. A little luck can go a long way. Some of us have to go a long way to find a little luck.
