Have you tried Buspar?

This doesnt cause sedation and can be very helpful for anxiety, especialy as an add on to SSRI's

Dose ranges from 15mg to 60mg per day - push the dose before yougive up on it.

Hydroxyzine (Atarax, Vistaril) would also be worth a try, its non habitforming and has a long history of use for anxiety. It can caue drowsiness in the fiorst few days, but this passes of quickly in most cases.

Not sure about tegretol for anxiety, it might work, but there isnt much firm evidence that it will.
