I was just recently diagnosed with lyme after 3 years of chronic facial and mental pain. I was on 75 mgs of effexor but something happened to me ever since I got bit by the tick. I can no longer tolerate any ssri's and benzos do nothing for me. The antidepressants make me crazy and I feel completely stuck. I just started antibiotics 4 days ago but I need some mental help. It's weird that taking am antidepressant could cause the nerves in my face to inflame but it happens and it sucks. Prior to getting bit by a tick my life was perfectly normal. Any thoughts on a medicine that may help considering I am super
sensitive?
