Depressed patients who receive Botox injections to paralyze the frown muscles between their eyebrows frequently experience an improvement in mood that lasts for months.
From the USA Today article:
Though his study was not definitive in saying who might benefit most from the treatment, Wollmer says in his experience, it works best in people who have an agitated form of depression and a lot of activity in their frown-line area.

RESULTS: Ten depressed patients were treated with botulinum toxin A, and 9 of 10 patients were no longer depressed 2 months after treatment. The tenth patient had an improvement in mood.
