And for a bit of dx history:

Officially my diagnosis is MDD, Severe, w/o psychosis & GAD. Pdoc maintains that my illness mimics Bipolar II but cycling to normal instead of hypomania. This is not the case; I maintain a normal public image when I'm forced into business due to obligations... but completely neglect self-care. I am also acutely aware of my depressed mood while I'm pretending to be okay.
