Hi rj,

My guess is that the problem is due to your 2nd suggestion: "2nd is that my body has a resistance with meds...or something in the brain is not traditionally working, has developed adaption."

This happens far more often than you might think. It has certainly happened to me, with many a med.

You should just tell your pdoc that your med at the current dose is no longer effective, that you suspect tolerance has developed. And suggest that either an increase in the dose of said med is in order, or perhaps a change to a different med. These are really the only ways to overcome the problem, and there is always the chance that even these solutions may not work. Let me know if you have any questions.
