Doesn't disability come with some sort of medical coverage? It seems rather counterintuitive. Or is that the medication gap in insurance? I've never understood the priorities of coverage. Surely it's cheaper to make sure someone is adequately treated than to pay for the consequences of the lack of treatment?
I agree that there is a lack of information out there about the drugs that doctors hand out. I was taking whatever they gave me for diabetes until I looked into the matter. Consumers must trust but verify, and do their own research about what goes into their bodies.
I've always responded rather well to AP's, so I can't really negatively comment on them. Other than that I try to minimize my use of them because of the blood sugar issue. I compare my life to before and after, and after definitely wins.
No matter how inactive Babble gets, you could never be invisible. It's the Babble participants who have known you for so long that have issues with visibility, myself included. I apologize for that. It doesn't mean the Babblers who have known and cared about you so long have quit caring about you just because they aren't here, or aren't here on a regular basis. Certainly it doesn't in my case.
